Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the most researched psychological treatments to date and has demonstrated to be effective for problems like depression, anxiety disorders and interpersonal difficulties - and many other psychological issues. CBT is based on the underlying assumption that unhelpful ways of thinking and patterns of maladaptive behaviors can cause psychological problems and that we can learn to relate to our thoughts and emotions in novel ways and thereby become more effective in our lives.

Parent Child Interaction Therapy.

Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is an evidence-based treatment for behavioral problems in young children. It is suitable for families with children between 2 to 7 years old. Therapy is divided into two phases in which the families learn and apply new skills and responses. The first and most important phase focuses on a warm and respectful relationship. The second phase builds upon the new skills learnt and establishes effective limit-setting. Throughout both phases parents are being coached in real-time by a trained PCIT therapist.

Psycho-Educational Assessments.

Cognitive and psycho-educational assessments measure a child’s cognitive abilities and academic achievement. This insight can help gain understanding of the child’s strengths, needs and learning style preferences as well as learning potential. Further fluctuations in concentration and attention can be identified. Assessments are an important tool to help diagnose specific learning disorders or behavioral problems as well as to identify giftedness.
